My 2019 Goals

2019 Goals & Resolutions

Hey loves! I hope everyone had a great start to the new year! I’ve been working a lot the past couple of days, but 2019 has been treating me good so far. With a new year come new year’s resolutions and goals and I for one like to set some goals to look back on later on. I always have a little list on my phone of everything I want to accomplish in a year, which I always look back on and reflect on at the end of the year.  Since it has been a while since I posted a more personal post, I decided to share some of the goals I have for 2019 with you! I hope this inspires you to do the same and work as hard as you can throughout the year to achieve them!

Stick to a better Schedule on YouTube & improve my content

Ideally, I would love to reach 5.000 subscribers on YT by the end of 2019, which is only 2K away from where we are right this second. Even though it’s not about the numbers, I adore making videos for you guys and I would love to be able to grow and reach more viewers. I definitely want stick to my Wednesdays & Sundays upload schedule and post more content that you guys love. So, if there are any video ideas you have in mind, shoot!

Stop comparing myself to others

I have a really really really bad habit of comparing myself to others that have accomplished far more than I have, which is really bad for my confidence. Especially with social media and YouTube, it’s so easy to get caught up in everything, and compare yourself to others that look prettier, have better content, are better at doing makeup,… whatever it is. But at the end of the day, you can only work as hard as you can to achieve your goals, and if someone is already ten steps ahead of you, that doesn’t mean you’re doing a bad job. Everything just takes time. So I really need to work on that!

Wash my makeup brushes more often

This may sound really miscellaneous, but I’ve neglected washing my brushes way too much the past year which is SO unhealthy for my skin. I’ve had some really bad break-outs in 2018 and I think this played a part in that. Also the fact that my eating habits aren’t the best ever, but let’s just ignore that for now haha! I would love to be able to make some time at least once every month to thoroughly clean my makeup brushes. Let’s be honest, once a month is still not enough, but I also have to be somewhat realistic.

Open up a physical store for Blaise Boutique

2018 was the year in which I became a business-owner when I launched my online fashion store BlaiseBoutique.com! It has brought me so much joy, but I definitely notice that there are still a lot of customers that prefer trying something on and seeing it in person. Even though we offer free returns, it still is holding back some people. So after the succes of our first pop-up in November, I’ve been thinking about opening up a Blaise Boutique store. I’m currently working on this as we speak, so hopefully I’ll be able to see some of you in my own store in the near future!

Write more blogposts

I’ve been so bad at writing blogposts this year, mainly because I couldn’t find the time to do so. Writing a review on some new makeup, posting about fashion,… It just makes me so happy and it’s very therapeutic for me. That’s why I want to make it a point to try and post at least one blogpost a week!

Just being happy

Lastly, I just want to continue being happy and doing my absolute best to feel great and love every minute of my life! As cheesy as this may sound, it’s the most important goal for me!

What are some of your goals & resolutions for the new year?
