I am a makeup junkie, there’s no denying it. But if there’s one product I don’t really care for, it’s lip gloss. I don’t like the stickiness, and lately I love a gorgeous matte lip. But I had these babies sitting in my drawer, waiting to be used. After postponing for so long I finally decided to try them out.
I am a huge fan of pink packaging, anything pink can catch my attention in a second. That’s why I love the packaging of these so much. I love the combination of pink and black. I also like that these gloss sticks are twistable at the bottom, so there’s no need for a sharpener. Another great thing about the packaging is that there’s a color-indication at the bottom. That way you don’t have to know the names by heart, you can just look at the packaging and see which color you’re grabbing for. Overall, the packaging is a winner for me!
Nudist is a mauve/pink shade. It’s the perfect ‘my lips but better and glossier’ lip shade that would look flattering on anyone.
Bashful is a light bubblegum pink. On my lips, the color doesn’t really show up that much though.
Raplumzel is a raspberry shade that’s perfect for this time of year.
At first I wasn’t really intrigued by these at all, but I love them! They’re a combination of a lip gloss and lip balm. The color pay-off isn’t that great, but I just adore the way these apply and feel on the lips. They’re super moisturizing, and even though these are glossy, they stay on the lips for hours.
The Soap & Glory gloss sticks are so hydrating and soft, I love them! If you’re looking for a lip product that gives off a lot of color pigment, then these might be the thing for you. But since I already own way too many lip products that do give off a lot of color, these are a fun and new addition to my collection! They cost £8 each (2,72g) and they’re available online here.
Wat een leuke kleurtjes!
Wauw wat zijn ze leuk! Precies mijn smaak wel 🙂
The colors are really pretty!
Ik vind het een beetje jammer dat je van de twee eerste kleurtjes zo weinig ziet …
