Catrice recently released a new limited edition collection inspired by nature called Neo Natured, which is now available in stores. In this collection there are mostly earthy tones such as greens, soft nudes and rustic reds. When I first saw this collection at my local Kruidvat, I immediately noticed the beautiful blush in this collection. But then after taking a closer look, I also saw this beautiful rustic red nail polish which I don’t already have in my collection. So today’s post is going to be dedicated to this beautiful new collection by Essence!
Catrice Neo Natured Blush
First of all, I picked up the blush in the shade Walk In The Woods, which is also the only blush shade available in this collection.
The packaging of this blush is such an eye-catcher! This blush comes in a bamboo wood looking packaging, which has a transparant lid and closes magnetically. But what’s so different about this packaging is that you have to swipe the front left or right to open up the blush. I think this adds such a fun touch! As always, there’s a sticker on the back with the shade name and some additional information.
Walk In The Woods is a dusty rosy pink with a matte finish. The pigmentation is average, but it’s buildable at the same time. The finish looks matte at first, but I think it has a more radiant finish, without being shimmery.
The formula is a little bit powdery and chalky, but it does blend onto the cheeks very easily. At first, it adds a nice flush to the cheeks, but you can build it up to look more intense.
This blush shade is super versatile and it’s especially flattering for those with fair to light skin-tones! I’ve been grabbing this one a ton ever since I got it.
The lasting-power of this blush is also average. On my cheekbones, it starts to fade away after about 6 hours of wear which is quite normal for Catrice blushes.

Catrice Neo Natured Nail Lacquer
Next, I also noticed this beautiful nail polish called Maroon Mélange. This collection contains four nail lacquers in total, all earthy toned. I thought this shade was quite unique and perfect for this season, which is why I decided to pick it up!
It’s not very noticeable here in these pictures, but Catrice actually did a special design on the lid of this polish. If you look closely, the lid has a leaf design engraved, but since the design is also in black, it’s hardly noticeable. However, there’s something that really bugs me about this packaging and that is the fact that the shade name is only visible on the little barcode sticker, not on the actual polish. As I’ve mentioned before, I think those stickers are ugly and I always rip them off, but I can’t with this polish.
Maroon Mélange is a maroon with orange undertones. I think this shade is perfect for the Fall and Winter season, it looks so festive! As with all of Catrice’s nail polishes, this one has a glossy finish and it applies super easily thanks to the large applicator. This nail polish dried relatively fast and had an average lasting-power of about 2 days before it started chipping on my nails.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been impressed by a LE collection by Catrice, but I must admit I adore this collection. The packaging, the shades,… I absolutely love it and I’ve been grabbing these two products a lot ever since I picked them up!
The Neo Natured LE collection by Catrice is now available at your local drugstore until the end of this month. The blush retails for €4,99 (9 g) and the nail lacquer will cost you €2,89 (10 ml). If there’s something you really like in this collection, I wouldn’t hesitate any longer because these LE collections tend to sell out relatively fast!
