Morphe 9N The Naturally Blushed Blush Palette

Hey loves! I’m back with another review and this time I’ll be talking all about the newest Morphe 9N blush palette. I have tried out two Morphe eyeshadow palettes in the past (35O & 35F) and was blown away by the quality. I was so impressed that whenever I saw they were coming out with a new blush palette I stalked all of my favorite online retailers that carry Morphe until I was able to hunt one down. This is their second blush palette, but the first palette wasn’t as appealing to me as this one is. The new 9N Naturally Blushed blush palette comes with a bunch of neutral, bronzy blushes and I was sold the minute I saw it pop up on my screen for the first time.

The packaging of the 9N blush palette is identical to the packaging Morphe’s eyeshadow palettes come in, it’s just a lot smaller. The palette comes in a cardboard box and is wrapped in bubble wrap. The palette feels the exact same way as their eyeshadow palettes, quite cheap but still sturdy. There’s no mirror or brush inside, just 9 decently sized blush pans. The blushes don’t have individual names, and the name of the palette is indicated on the back of the palette with a little sticker that says ‘9N’.

Although the packaging is quite boring and it looks and feels cheap, they’re really compact and easy to store. They’re also perfect for makeup artists, since you have a great variety of shades in one little palette.

The 9N blush palette comes with 5 matte shades and 4 luminous ones, a total of 9 beautiful neutral blushes. I’m really happy to see that there’s a nice variety of finishes and shades, I think this palette would work on almost every skin-tone. There’s just less options for people with very dark skin-tones, but they can definitely still use this palette!

Overall the colors are very warm and they’re all neutral shades. I guess that’s why I was immediately drawn to this palette.

As you can see, these swatches speak for itself. The pigmentation and color pay-off of these blushes is amazing, just like you would expect from Morphe. I did feel like the matte blushes had better color pay-off than the luminous ones. The formula of these blushes is very soft but just a tiny bit powdery.

The application of these blushes is so smooth, they just glide onto your cheeks but you do have to be careful not to use too much at a time. They’re definitely buildable so go in with a light hand at first.

The luminous blushes aren’t shimmery at all, they just add a dewiness to the skin that looks very healthy and beautiful. The matte shades also make your skin look radiant, which is really weird but I’m definitely not complaining! The middle shade can also be used as a blush topper or even a highlight for people with darker skin-tones.

I would say the lasting power of these blushes is average. They don’t have the best wear time, but they do stay on my cheeks for about 6 hours before they start to fade.

Wearing the top right blush shade from the Morphe 9N blush palette on my cheeks

This is such a beautiful, everyday and versatile blush palette, I absolutely love these kind of tones as blush on my skin-tone. The only negative remark I have is the packaging and the ingredients that aren’t the best ever. But the quality is great, just as great as their eyeshadow palettes and on top of that, this palette is super affordable. This has definitely been my go-to palette recently!

There’s a variety of online retailers where you can get your hands on this beautiful palette. I personally got my 9N blush palette from boozyshop.be here and I payed €23,49 (31.5 g). Considering there are 9 shades in this palette, it comes down to about €2,60 per blush which is insanely affordable! On the official Morphe website, this blush palette is actually on sale for $19,99 which is crazy to believe since it’s such a new release. If you don’t live in the US, keep in mind that you might be charged with custom on top of relatively expensive shipping.

Oh wat een mooi blushpalette! De meest linker blush op de bovenste rij zal te koel voor mij zijn, maar de rest wil ik allemaal dragen. Deze gaat op de wishlist :).
