Pastel Nail Polish in ‘Mocha’ & ‘Princess’

You know a girl can’t go on vacation for two weeks without doing some makeup shopping, am I right?? Well, not me of course. I didn’t go crazy, but I did find some bits and pieces that I really wanted to try. I always love exploring local drugstores and discovering brands I didn’t even know existed. While I was on vacation in Turkey, I came across this nail polish brand ‘Pastel’ that I had never heard of before. Their nail polishes looked so beautiful and cute that I decided to try two of them. They were also super inexpensive, which was another reason I decided to try these.

I grabbed two shades: Mocha and Princess, which are both neutral-toned pastel shades. The packaging of these nail polishes is really what caught my attention in the first place, they’re soooo adoreable and cute!

Mocha is a light grey with subtle glitter in it. At first I thought the glitter would be too noticeable, but once I applied it onto my nails, it actually looked quite nice.

Princess is a light pastel pink with a shiny finish but no glitter. Again, this could’ve used a third coat since it’s not the opaquest ever. I do love how this color looks on me, especially now that I have a little bit of a tan.

The consistency of both of these polishes was a bit runny and thin, but with 2-3 coats I made it work. The polishes stayed on my nails for about 3 days, which is average.

I do love the packaging of these nail polishes, they look so adorable! The quality was average, but I did enjoy wearing these. I bought mine whilst I was on vacation in Turkey for only €1, which is ridiculously inexpensive!
