Kiko Colour Sphere Eye Shadow

I try to not post negative stuff on my blog and see something good in every product. But when there is a product that really disappoints me, I think I should share it with you guys as well. So for today’s review I have a product that, for once, I really didn’t like. It’s the Colour Sphere eye shadow by Kiko in the color in “Tan Special FX”. I loved how it looks in the packaging and when I swatched it in store it was pretty intense. But then when I tried it on my eyes, I really didn’t like it. Take a look with me 🙂

As far as packaging goes, I don’t have anything bad to say. It’s very simple and it doesn’t feel cheap. It’s see-through on top which can come in handy as well.

Tan Special FX is a warm shimmering brown. As you can see in the picture below, the swatch is pretty good. But when I applied on my eyelids that intensity just wasn’t there. It was mostly glitter, the brown color was very subtle. After that, I thought that maybe I should try to use this eyeshadow wet. That made the application difficult and it didn’t look intense as well. So then I thought, okay, maybe it’s just not so intense, which is perfect for a natural eye look. So I kept it on my eyelids. But after a few hours of wear it started creasing on my, even with an eyeshadow primer. I tried a second and third day, but it kept on disappointing me. Luckily it wasn’t a super expensive product, but still it’s a bummer!
