Tarte Shine Bright Statement Lash Essentials Kit

My sephora.com order finally came in the mail yesterday and I’m so happy with all the products I got! We made an online group purchase on the website and I picked up two limited-edition Tarte holiday sets. The first one is the Shine Bright Statement Lash Essentials Kit, which comes with a beautiful collector’s edition Picture Perfect eyelash curler and a deluxe-size Lights, Camera, Flashes mascara. Tarte is a cruelty-free brand that is relatively hard to get your hands on here in Belgium so I definitely took advantage of the opportunity to pick up this beautiful duo. I’ll be doing a haul soon but for now, keep on reading to know more about this kit! 

The first thing that comes in this kit is the Picture Perfect eyelash curler. How beautiful does this limited-edition eyelash curler look?? I love it! This eyelash curler is super easy to work with and it’s also very gentle to use. 

I just can’t get over how gorgeous this holiday inspired design looks! It’s so festive and chic looking! 

The mascara that comes in this little duo set is the Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement mascara. It’s a deluxe-size and it contains 5 ml of product. 

I have tried this mascara before and gave it away almost immediately after using it for the first time. The reason being I accidentally poked my eye with it and it hurt so freakin’ bad!! The brush on this mascara is so spiky and dangerous, my eyes started tearing up and I got so upset I immediately gave it to someone else. But since it came in this set I thought I would give it another go (being really gentle and careful!) and I really loved it. It separates my lashes, it’s buildeable and it adds a ton of volume and length. 

I used both the eyelash curler and Lights, Camera, Flashes mascara and loved the volume this combo gave me! 

I’ll be honest with you, the bedazzled eyelash curler was probably the only reason I bought this little set. Even if it didn’t come with the little mascara I would’ve picked it up because it was just one of those collectors items I had to have in my collection and I’m glad I do!
