If you have been following my blog for a while now, then you would know by now that I am obsessed with Essie nail polishes. They are my favorite brand of polishes ever and I have build up quite a collection. I always try to purchase them whenever there’s a sale going on, because I think they have become so expensive lately. I think they’re almost €13, which is way too much in my opinion. So when Di was offering a €6 off sale on any Essie nail polish, I decided to purchase two nail polishes from their Spring 2016 collection that I had been eyeing for a while now.
The first one I picked up was Virgin Snow which is an icy creamy lavender shade. It has both blue and purple in it, but in a very subtle and soft way. I think this shade is so unique and I absolutely love it! The coverage was amazing, with full opaqueness after two thin layers. It doesn’t look streaky or uneven, it’s just perfect!
High Class Affair is a soft peachy nude, which has incredible coverage. At first, I thought this shade wouldn’t be opaque enough and that you would still be able to see my actual nails through the polish, but luckily that wasn’t the case! After two thin layers, High Class Affair looks super opaque without any streaks or unevenness.
Both of these shades stayed on my nails for about 4 days before they started chipping just a little bit. The applicator on these is rather large and coats your lashes in two to three strokes. Since these are Essie nail polishes, I wasn’t surprised with the quality, which is always incredible.
The Spring 2016 collection by Essie is now available in stores and online on kruidvat.be for €12,49 (13.5 ml). Since these shades are limited edition, I wouldn’t hesitate much longer if you were intreated in getting on of these.
