NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel

You guys!! I’m finally done with my exams and I can enjoy a 2 weeks’ holiday. That means I’m back with a lot of things to blog about! I’m not doing anything super exciting since I have to work most of the time, but I’ll try to relax and enjoy my free time as much as I can. I’m actually laying in bed right now since I have a cold and I’m not feeling the best. Hopefully I’ll feel better soon, but for now, I’m just chilling’ in bed. That means I can finally write a post about a makeup product that I’ve been testing out and dying to tell you guys about. It’s the NYX Control Freak eyebrow gel that I ordered a while ago on cherryculture.com. 

The packaging of this brow gel, like most brow gels, looks like a regular mascara. One thing I love about this one is that it doesn’t have a transparant packaging. Since eyebrow gels can look a bit nasty really fast, I prefer it if I don’t see the actual product because that’s just filthy. The design is simple and chic, which is always nice especially with drugstore products. 

I have used clear brow gels in the past that I absolutely hated. They were either too sticky or too clumpy and a lot of them have disappointed me. That’s why I was still pretty skeptical to try this one, but I must say I love it. The brush is nice and big, it’s the perfect size. There’s not too much product that comes on the brush, it’s actually a decent amount to set both brows in place with. It tames those occasional wild and stubborn little hairs and keeps your eyebrows in place throughout the day. You can either use this on its own, or you can use it to top off any brow powder or pencil.
