Blushes are my biggest weakness, and I have discovered a new favorite! I remember seeing this Tarte blush called ‘Dollface’ on Youtube and on American blogs, and I just new I had to get it. I had tried one of their blushes before, a mini one I got in a set a year ago, and I freaking loved it! That’s when I knew I had to add ‘Dollface’ to my collection, which I did of course.
The packaging of Tarte blushes is absolutely adorable! It’s simple, yet super cute. Their blushes come in this round compact case, that feels quite sturdy. I love the simple design and how the color of the compact somewhat matches the blush shade. That makes it super easy if you’re looking for this specific shade in your collection.
Dollface is a light bubblegum pink with blue undertones. It has some subtle shimmer in it that’s barely noticeable, just a subtle sheen.
The formula of these blushes isn’t too powdery, yet it’s not very creamy either. It just feels soft and is easy to blend onto the cheeks. The pigmentation is just how I like it: not too pigmented, yet it has good color pay-off. I don’t have to be scared to swirl my brush into this blush, which is just what I love. They claim this blush stays on for 12 hours, and they’re not lying! Aside from a little bit of fading around the edges, this blush stays on your cheeks for legit 12 hours straight!
