Hi beautiful! This morning Sinterklaas brought me some presents! For those of you who are unfamiliar with Sinterklaas, it’s man with a white beard (similar to Santa Claus) that brings presents to kids that have been nice throughout the year. This is how it works: You put a shoe by the fireplace (including some snacks for Zwarte Piet, his help, and a carrot for his horse). Zwarte Piet climbs through your chimney and when you wake up in de the morning, your shoe is filled with presents! And since I have been so nice this year, the man didn’t forget me! It’s nice to still be a child sometimes and believe in the magic of the world 🙂
