New In: E.l.f. Products!

Hello beauties! I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I decided to keep my week-end very relaxing, with a little bit of studying here and there and of course some blogging. I have had these babies sitting in my drawers untouched and I thought I would finally share them with you. I bought a couple of new e.l.f. products whilst I was in the States that I really wanted to try out. So if you’re interested in these, keep on reading 🙂

The first thing I picked up was this Daily Brush Cleaner. This is a spray that you can use to clean your brushes on an everyday base. You simply spritz a few times on a tissue and you can rub your dirty brush in it until it’s clean. However, you still need to deep clean your brushes almost weekly, this is just a quick everyday cleaner. It does have a rather stronger smell but it works fine. I was using a Sephora one before this and it works as great.

I also wanted to try their HD Lifting Concealer. I bought the color Light with the intension of using this for under-eye concealing. But this shade is a little bit too dark to use as an under-eye concealer so I use it to cover up imperfections on my face. With the dough-foot applicator it’s super easy to apply this on the areas where you need that extra coverage. This concealer is really blendable and the formula isn’t too dry. It also stays on the entire day!

E.l.f. HD Lifting Concealer €4 (7,5g) available here.

I heard a lot of good things about their Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadows so I decided to pick one up in the shade Toast. These shadows are whipped gels and they contain lots of glitter.

Toast is a shimmery golden color, perfect for nights out or occasions where you need to dress-up a little. The texture feels super funky, almost bouncy. It applies super easy and looks good on it’s own or combined with other shades (mostly dark browns). It lasted all day without creasing thanks to its long-wearing formula. I think the texture and shimmeriness is very comparable to Chanel’s Illusion D’Ombre eyeshadows 🙂
