Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm

If you’re looking for a fun alternative to a classic lip balm I found just the thing for you. The Almay Color Care liquid lip balms. As you can tell by their names, they are liquid lip balms. It’s the first time I ever tried a lip balm in a lipgloss tube and form but I must say I like it!

As I mentioned previously these lip balms come in a lipgloss tube and have a sponge tip applicator. They’re supposed to have the benefits of both a lipgloss (shininess and color) and a lip balm (moisturizing). At first I thought that was weird and looked at them as regular lip glosses but they’re so soft and smooth and buttery! They’re non-sticky and they feel so good on the lips! The only downside for me: the funky smell.

“900 Apricot Pucker”

The first one I purchased is called Apricot Pucker and it’s a light orange shade. It’s very natural and it’s not that noticeable on the lips. 

“500 Pink Pout”

The next one is called Pink Pout which is a shiny and transparant pink. It looks a lot like “Apricot Pucker” when applied to the lips. If I had known this in advance I would have purchased one of those two.

“100 Just Plum Good”

The last and third one I got is Just Plum Good which is the darkest color of the three I got. It’s also the most noticeable on the lips but again very subtle.
