When I was walking in Action the other day I stumbled upon their makeup isle, which I usually don’t really care for. But recently they added a bunch of new stuff and the new products really caught my attention. I picked up a lot of items, one of them being this gorgeous nail polish that retailed for only 50 cents. Since it was so cheap, I didn’t really expect anything special, but I did want to try it out and review it on my blog. You never know, maybe I was walking passed all of those hidden gems all along! Also, not only is Max & More (which is Action’s house brand of makeup) super cheap, they’re also cruelty free which is crazy! So if you’re curious to know how this budget-friendly nail polish performs, keep on reading!
The packaging is super basic and simple, but I do appreciate that the nail polish comes in a little cardboard box which I think adds a nice touch. The bottle is transparant with a black cap and is quite small and compact since it only contains 7 ml of product.
Skinny Nude is a beautiful muted peachy pink with subtle brown undertones. Although it’s called ‘Skinny Nude’, I wouldn’t necessarily consider this shade nude to be honest, but I do adore the color! This shade doesn’t contain any shimmer or glitter but has a pretty glossy finish.
The formula is quite liquid, yet it’s super easy to apply. After only one layer the color looked fully opaque without any streaks and it dried down quite fast as well. When you pair this polish with a nice top- and base coat, it easily stays on the nails for 3 or 4 days without chipping.
The applicator is super basic yet flexible and it’s quite wide on the nail surface. I do prefer my applicators to be a little bit wider, but this one definitely gets the job done!

Overall, I’m super impressed by this nail polish! I wasn’t expecting anything special since I payed almost nothing for this, but the quality is actually really nice. I adore this shade, it has amazing coverage and a beautiful glossy finish. I’m definitely going to grab more shades next time I’m in Action!
