Tarte Bling It On Amazonian Clay Blush Palette

As I told you guys in a previous post, I made an exciting order on sephora.com and purchased two Holiday sets from Tarte. After reviewing the lash kit, which I was really impressed with, I’m going to be dedicating today’s post to this beautiful blush palette. It’s the Amazonian Clay blush palette which has five gorgeous blush shades inside and looks absolutely stunning.

This blush palette has a gorgeous festive packaging, covered in black glitter and with gold details. You get a really big mirror inside along with 5 gorgeous amazonian clay blushes. The blushes are definitely more on the warm-toned, matte side and they have the typical Tarte pattern. This palette contains 4 limited-edition shades and 1 shade that is part of their permanent line (Dollface).

The color selection of this palette is right up my alley with the matte warm toned blushes. Most of these blushes would suit almost any skin-tone and are universally flattering.

Fetching: a warm medium rosy pink with a satin finish.
❤ Dollface: a light medium pink with blue undertones and a matte finish.
❤ Prim: a warm muted rosy brown with a satin sheen.
❤ Smashing: a warm pinky coral with a matte finish.
❤ Beaming: a very light and soft peach with a pink undertone and silver shimmer.

FetchingPrim and Smashing are definitely my 3 favorite shades out of the 5 blushes. I adore the colors and they’re rather soft and easy to blend. They have an amazing color pay-off and pigmentation and I think these are two staple blushes to have. Dollface is a shade from their permanent line that I already own, so I’m really bummed they decided to add this blush to this palette. Nonetheless it’s a beautiful cooler toned pink blush. Beaming is super light and doesn’t have that great of a color pay-off. But, since it is more on the sheer side I like to use this one as a blush-topper. For example, I’ll apply Fetching on my cheekbones and add just a little bit of Beaming on top to add a bit of shimmer.

The blushes are overall really good quality and most of them are super soft and not too powdery. They say these blushes are supposed to last 12 hours on your cheekbones, but I noticed some fading after about 7-8 hours of wear. They’re definitely not going to last 12 hours on your cheeks, but I think 7-8 hours is already quite good.

Another great thing about this palette and the brand Tarte? All of their products are formulated without:

Parabens / mineral oil / phthalates / triclosan / sodium lauryl sulfate / gluten

Their makeup is also dermatologist tested and cruelty free, which is the most amazing thing ever if you ask me!

I’m wearing Fetching on my cheekbones and topped it off with Beaming. I think Fetching looks absolutely beautiful and it’s one of my favorites!

Ever sine I got this palette in the mail (which was a few days ago) I can’t stop wearing it. I love mixing a few of the shades and just get creative and have fun with it! This palette is perfect for beginners who want to build up their collection and even for makeup lovers this palette is an absolute must! Tarte comes out with these blush palettes every year for the holidays and I think I might have started a new collection! I’ll definitely try and get my hands on these every year!

The Bling It On Amazonian Clay blush palette is a limited-edition palette that is already sold out as I’m writing this post. It retailed for $44 on sephora.com and contains 22,5 g (4,5 g x 5) of product, which is a super fair price if you ask me. One full size amazonian clay blush will cost you $28 and contains 5,6 g, which means you get a really good deal on with this palette! I really hope they will restock this palette soon because it’s the perfect christmas gift!

Dit palette is zo mooi! <3 De enige reden dat ik hem niet heb besteld is omdat ik Dollface al heb en ik daarom streng voor mijzelf ben en vind dat ik hem niet mag, maar stiekem wil ik hem alsnog hebben haha!
