August 2015 Favorites

Last time I did my monthly favorites post was in June and I remember saying that I couldn’t believe Summer was already here. Now, I can’t believe Summer is almost over and Fall is right around the corner! That’s just crazy to me. But since August is coming to an end, I gathered all my favorite products that I used a ton the past month to share with you guys! As I’m writing this post, I’m packing my suitcase and tomorrow I’ll be on a plane (or two) on my way to Californiaaaaaa!! Aaaah I’m so excited!! ❤ Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in ‘Champagne Pop’
I knew this would end up in one of my favorites posts eventually since it is a collaboration with the one and only Jaclyn Hill! I really look up to her and I honestly think Champagne Pop is one of the best highlighters out there. It is stunning and intensely pigmented, I just love it! (review)

❤ MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in ‘Painterly’

I have been using this as an eyeshadow base every single time I use eyeshadow and it gives me such a nice and even ‘canvas’ to start off with. It cancels out any veins or redness on my eyes and makes the shadows pop even more. I would really suggest the paint pots if you’re into eyeshadow and creating fun and vibrant looks. 

❤ Zoeva Luxe Cream Lipstick in ‘Easy Spirit’
I just realized that this lipstick was also in my June favorites, but says a lot about how I feel about this. The formula of this lipstick is so on point, it’s creamy but not too shiny and it lasts on my lips for hours. I also adore the shade, I think it looks really flattering on my skin-tone. (review)

❤ Laura Mercier Radiance Bronze Foundation Primer

I always wear some sort of primer underneath my makeup and this foundation primer by Laura Mercier is the one I have been using the past couple of weeks. It’s a sample size I got a while ago and I just love it. It has adds a bronzed radiance to my skin that makes me looks 10 times fresher and more awake. It also keeps my foundation in place throughout the day, which is always nice!

❤ Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar
I have done an in-depth review on this palette by Too Faced this month so I won’t go into detail but I just adore this palette. It has become one of my favorite and most used palettes and I love the color selection (and scent!). (review)

❤ Dirty Works Perfecting Eye Cream

I bought this eye cream on my trip to Turkey last month and have been using it ever since. It does a great job at de-puffing my tired under-eyes and it feels really good on my skin. 

❤ Origins GinZeng Energy-Boosting Moisturizer

I have been trying this new moisturizer by Origins that I had been wanting for a while now. So far, I really like it. It smells really good, is light-weight and sinks into my skin quickly. I’ll keep on using it and keep you guys updated on this one! 

❤ Air Wick Essentials Oils Infusion Candle in ‘Vanilla’

I got this candle at Action a few weeks ago and Ohhh my god it smells heavenly!! If you happen to walk into an Action store you have to smell this one, you’ll love it! Normally I’m not a fan of vanilla smelling anything but this doesn’t really smell like vanilla, it’s hard to describe, so just go and take a sniff!

    Mooie producten. Die origins creme is ook mijn favoriet. Hij is echt super fijn!
