Hi loves! This gorgeous weather that we’ve had for the past 3 days has put me in such a great mood, I love it! I’ve been studying outside enjoying the sun as much as I can. And whenever the temperature starts heating up, I get the urge to bust out all of my colored and vibrant makeup and just have fun with it. I’ve had this vibrant pink lipstick from Wet ‘n Wild sitting in drawers, waiting to be used for so long now, so I thought I would bust into this beauty.
The megalast lipsticks by Wet ‘n Wild come in a very simple and basic black packaging with a clear cap. I actually really like how this looks, it makes it very easy to see the shade of the lipstick. But on the other hand, this packaging is less practical since the lipstick doesn’t go all the way down. If you’re not careful when you’re opening or closing this lipstick, it could get real messy. Also, this packaging feels a little bit cheap, but since it is actually very cheap, I’m not complaining at all!
Dollhouse Pink is a vibrant bubblegum pink with blue undertones. It has a semi-matte, creamy finish which I absolutely love. It is a more daring shade, especially for the lips, but I think it’s so fun and different for the Summer time! I wouldn’t normally gravitate towards such a vibrant color, but for the price, I thought I would give it a go and I’m really glad I did.
I think Wet ‘n Wild is definitely an amazing budget-friendly brand, especially when it comes to their lipsticks. The formula of their megalast lipsticks can easily compete with some of my more expensive higher-end ones. I just love that they’re so comfortable to wear yet with such an intense color pay-off.
