MAC Satin Taupe Eyeshadow

Meet Satin Taupe, one of MAC’s bestselling eyeshadows. Most of you have probably heard about this shade a few times before, since it is so popular. I don’t know why it took me so long to add this staple to my collection, but I’m glad I finally did. It’s such a unique eyeshadow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one like it, especially at the drugstore. There are probably a lot of brands with dupes for this one, but for now, I’m sticking to the classic!

I get my MAC shadows in the pan, so I can put it in my pro palette. I buy the ones that fit 4 shadows, it’s my second palette now. I like it better that way, it takes up less space and costs a lot less.

Satin Taupe is so hard to describe. It’s a dark taupe with silver shimmer and frost finish. Sometimes it can look more brown then taupe. 

MAC eyeshadows are usually not that pigmented but Satin Taupe is. It’s one of their bestsellers and it definitely stands out. The texture is smooth, it’s easy to blend and it’s highly pigmented.
