Morphe 35F Eyeshadow Palette | Review

I discovered Morphe Brushes about a year ago, when I was on vacation in California. We visited their Burbank store, which was such a fun experience! There, I picked up the Morphe 35O eyeshadow palette, which I have been loving and abusing ever since I got it. Since then, I’ve been quite obsessed with this brand and have tried out a few more palettes and brushes by them. So about a month ago, they released this beautiful new eyeshadow palette, the 35F palette. After seeing the gorgeousness that is this palette for the first time, I just had to get my hands on it at some point, and luckily I did!

The 35F palette came in a cardboard packaging, as well as a good amount of bubblewrap for protection. Morphe’s palettes have a simple black plastic packaging, with their logo on the front, and a sticker on the back indicating the number of the palette. I personally think the packaging looks and feels a bit cheap, but on the other hand they’re really thin and perfectly stackable.

The ‘F’ in the name 35F stands for ‘Fall Into Frost’, so clearly this is an eyeshadow palette created for and inspired by Fall. And I guess that’s pretty obvious considering the amount of cranberry, green and golden tones in this palette. Overall it’s a pretty warm palette that comes with 35 eyeshadow pans.

As you can see, we have 7 matte eyeshadow on the bottom, and 28 metallic shadows on top. That makes it the perfect everyday palette, since you could easily create tons of looks only using this. I also really enjoy how they put the matte shadows separate, that way you don’t get any shimmer on your matte shadows or vice versa.

Here I swatched a few shadows that immediately caught my eye. And wow, look at that pigmentation and how stunning they look! The shimmery shadows have an intense foiled finish, you could even compare them to Makeup Geek’s foiled shadows. The matte shadows also had amazing color pay-off.

The formula of both the shimmers and mattes is silky smooth and buttery! I also didn’t experience any problem blending these onto my eyelids, even the mattes blended perfectly into my crease.

I do experience a little bit of fall-out during application with Morphe’s eyeshadows because they are so pigmented so that’s definitely something to keep in mind.

There’s a good variety of finishes and shades in this palette and you could create a lot of different looks with this. I always have so much fun creating looks with these huge palettes, because you get so much to play around with and the possibilities are endless!

If I would compare the 35F to my 35O eyeshadow palette, I think Morphe really stepped up their game. Even though I thought the 35O was unbeatable, the quality of this one is even better in my opinion. But with that being said, the 35O is still a little bit more versatile in my opinion.

Ingredients:

Talc, Mica, Mineral Oil, Kaolin, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Lanolin, Methylparaben, polyparaben, propylparaben. May Contain: Mica and Titanium dioxide, Iron Oxides, Manganese Violet, Ultramarine Blue, Chrome Oxide Green, Hydrated Chrome Oxide Green, FD&C Red No.40 A1 Lake, FD&C Yellow No.5 A1 Lake, FD&C Blue No.1 A1 Lake.

As you can see, the shadows do contain Parabens and Mineral Oils, which aren’t the best ingredients ever. If this was a high-end expensive product, this would definitely be a deal-breaker for me. But since it is so affordable and the quality is amazing, I don’t mind it that much.

I created a cranberry gold look using this palette, which I filmed a tutorial on. You can check out my video here.  (don’t mind the glue on the false lashes, it’s annoying me too!!!)

As I had expected, there is nothing bad I can say about this palette and I have fallen absolutely in love! The only remark I would have is that the ingredients aren’t the best ever, but hey, you get what you pay for and for €20, you really can’t complain! The eyeshadows are smooth as butter, pigmented and they’re really easy to blend.

The new Morphe 35F eyeshadow palette is available on the official Morphe website here for $22,99 (56.2 g). 56 g is a lot of product, especially considering the price point of this palette. It comes down to 65 cents per eyeshadow, which is extremely affordable if you ask me!

I love Morphe, their brushes are so good too considering the price, I use Morphe brushes more than I use my Sigma brushes. I have the 35N and 35O and both are so beautiful to work with.
